I had the pleasure of working in the world art team on the Halvøy map in Battlefield V: Firestorm.
As Halvøy is the largest Battlefield map to date a lot of us worked together on the locations in the map. I was mainly responsible for taking the hard work people had done in the Minerva Docks and surrounding areas up to final quality, and polishing the coastline around the map. I also worked on some of the locations shown in this post from an early state.
My first task at Criterion was to block out the pre-round hangar. I was also involved in creating the Sulis strongboxes, blocking out rock formations, level dressing, general terrain work across the map, polishing the coastal road terrain, and making Firestorm-specific assets alongside our amazing art and world design teams.
Thank you to everyone at Criterion, DICE and EA Shanghai, and to the excellent art and world team for making something we are all very proud of!
